Housing, Parking & Dining

Those students requiring reasonable accommodations related to a disability for housing on the New Brunswick Campus, should visit the New Brunswick Office of Housing and Residence Life website for the latest information about living on campus. In addition, you are required to fill out the Housing Disability Request Form and have your treating professional fill out the Housing Accommodation Documentation Form.

The Department of Transportation Services (DOTS) at Rutgers provides a comprehensive transit system which serves all destinations on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campuses. Any student requiring accommodations for transportation or parking needs to apply through the Accessible Transportation and Parking page, and will also need their treating provider to submit supporting documentation

Dining Services employs a Nutritionist / Registered Dietitian to assist students with specialized dietary needs. Students requiring a specialized diet for medical needs such as celiac disease or food allergies can schedule a meeting with the Nutritionist to discuss an individualized nutrition care plan.

Dining Services will work with students who have special dietary needs to ensure a medically appropriate and nutritionally sound diet. To learn more about this program please visit the dining website. Students can also complete and submit the Medical and Dietary Consideration Form.
