"Lunch & Learn" for Students
Join us for a session focused on neurodivergent leadership and self-advocacy. Learn about resources and tips for community organizing. This session will focus on students who self-identify as neurodivergent. Free lunch provided.
1:30 - 2:30PM
"Cultivating a Neurodivergent Accessible & Inclusive Campus" for Faculty & Staff
This session is offered to faculty and staff audiences who want to learn more about the barriers that neurodivergent students face and how to make our campus more accessible.
3 - 4:30PM
"Celebrating & Affirming Our Neurodivergent Community" for Everyone
This session, open to all, focuses on providing a foundation for understanding neurodiversity. Learn the history and meaning of "neurodivergent" and grow your understanding of disability and its connections to other aspects of identity. Session will close with resources and Q&A with the educator, Robin Gow. Open to anyone - students, staff, faculty and community.
About the Educator:
Robin Gow is an autistic trans poet and educator from rural Pennsylvania. They facilitate Prism, a Neurodivergent Queer Community Group at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community where they serve as the Associate Director of Community Programs. Robin also serves on the Board of Directors of Eastern PA Trans Equity Project and Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living. They earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Adelphi University.
