You have indicated that you have not, or are unsure if you have, been diagnosed with a disability.

Rutgers students who suspect they may have a Learning Disorder and/or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder AND have not previously received an official diagnosis from a licensed professional can contact the Rutgers Psychological Clinic to schedule an appointment for a screening.  The screening will cost $75, which must be paid fully at the time of the appointment. The screening will collect broad information about a student's experiences, which will be used to determine whether a student will need further, more in-depth testing for a specific diagnosis. Official diagnoses cannot be given through the screening session alone.

If the determination from the initial screening is that further evaluation for a Learning Disorder of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is warranted then the student can schedule an appointment for full evaluation at the clinic.  The full evaluation will cost $450 for Rutgers Students.   However, students who are enrolled in the Rutgers Student Insurance Plan will be charged a fee of only $150. The $75 cost for the screening will be deducted from the $450 or the $150 co-pay if the student chooses to have a full evaluation completed.
